Trying to save another one J.D. pull type

O.K. fellas here I am trying to save another old combine from the scrapper.Beginning to think I am obsessed!Pull type John Deere 30 or 35. Not sure as I havent looked at it yet. Is it a combine that uses a canvas? Going to try to check on it later today. Any info might help.

Big difference between a 35 and a 30. A 30 is just a refined version of the 12A and a 35 is a smaller version of the Holt 36. A 30 does not use a canvass.

Just talked to the old gentleman that owns the combine. Turns out it is a 30. The worst part is I thought it was @ 35 miles away but it is around 75-80. Are the wheels too wide to back it onto a 8 foot wide trailer? Thanks for any help,Lee

Can't tell you for sure on the 30 but an allis all crop fits on a 98" deck with the tires hanging off both sides. If you back it on trailer the header hangs about 3' over the shoulder. Be mindful of mailboxes!!!

John Deere did not make a 35. The 30 is auger and previous is 25 and canvas. Massey made a 35.

That machine was one of the pararie monsters and was in now way able to be confused with the 30 or 25 that were 7' pull type and it had multiple canvases on it with a header you took off for transport.
