Today I had my choice of about 12-15 farm sales within driving distance....As lousy as I felt I should have just stayed at home but I went to one located 17 miles straight west of me..It was a strange sale as the highest selling thing was a New Holland manure spreader that sold for $3,000..Most of the stuff hadn't been used in over 5 years and hadn't had the best of care..Most of the implements sold for $100-500 each....The sale started at 10 am and was over at 12 noon...Lots of the smaller stuff stored in a grain bin had been stolen by a nearby druggie..

1-TR-85 New Holland combine with 20 ft flex head...Had new 28Lx 26 rice drive tires---$2300---Last ran 3 years ago....The scrap dealer was runner up...The neighbors said it didn't have alot of hours..

2-1566 IH rough and not running---$2200----He used to also have a Steiger 4WD,1206 Farmall, and a FWA 706 IH with an 856 engine...They were sold about 4-5 years ago..

3-930 Case diesel not running----$775----went for scrap---had one new 18.4x34 rear tire...

4-MM 445 ? Industrial tractor with loader----$500

5-D-7 Cat-----$1,000----went for scrap----seller had bought it running 5-6 years ago and paid lots more....It wasn't in that bad of shape..

6-7000 JD 6 row planter----$700

7-Caldwell V-Ripper---$300

8-Pallet of mostly 100 lb IH front weights-----$475----friend got them

9-Two never used military 290 Cummins engines----$425 for the left one and $350 for the one on the right--a friend got the left one to have a spare for his Steiger..

10-Look what the pack rats did to this Ford pickup...They have a problem with them in that area..

Next Saturday I hope to be in northeast Oklahoma for a sale..

I always appreciate your auction results posts. It's almost like getting to go to each auction with your photos/descriptions/price lists...

Man I wish I was there for the dozer and those cummins.

If you happen to run across sales that have Oliver MM cockshutt or white combines would you posting the sale bill before the auction?

Hay Blain, We mite meet up this coming Sat, as we are planning on going to an auction in N E OK>also.clint

Clint,if I feel good enough I'll be there....I spent all day yesterday in bed and just got back from the doctor....I just got my first ever allergy shot...

That D-7 Cat was too nice to be scrapped...Those two Cummins engines weren't even listed on the sale bill...

Not running it may have brought everything it was worth. Real easy for one of those things to turn into a froze up chunk of metal when they sit that long.
