I have to replace the clutch disc in the separator drive in my K. As it slips really bad and stops up the machine. Is this a major task? Thanks for the help

Not too bad of a job,everything is right out in the open,no heavy pieces to remove.

Thanks. Doesnt seem to look bad. just thought id ask. Sometimes it easy to cause yourself extra work for no reason other than being hardheaded :lol: :lol:

Yes the only way I could figure out how to we did. Didnt seem to help. Im sure some of the issue was the crop I was trying to harvest as well. I know it got really warm so that why I am saying it needs replacing.

There is a wide U-shaped clip held on with one small bolt, and the two bends on the clip engage notches in the clutch ring.take the clip off, advance the clutch ring until the engaging lever snaps well, and put the lock clip back in place.
