NOT sure what your serial number would be, but I'm gonna guess it's new enough that it has the instruments to the right of the operator.
Looking at the parts catalog, it looks like the reg. must be in that RH side console or darned close to it.

First off, with engine shut off, polarize the GENERATOR by momentarily jumper together the "BATT" and "ARM" terminals at the regulator.
Start the engine.
If still no charge, jumper the "FLD" terminal to a good ground. this should make the generator go to "full charge", if it works, don't leave it there very long.
If still no charge, be safe, stay out of the fan, belts, and other moving parts and connect a voltmeter to ground and the "A" (ARM) terminal stud at the generator.
Then, ground the "F" terminal, this time at the generator and observe the voltmeter and post back with the results.
If you care to dig into this and learn how the generator-type charging system works, the service manual at the link below will walk you through it.
It is an IH manual, but in that era both DEERE and IH used similar Delco equipment, so the info will apply to your combine, as well.
Charging system info begins on Page 35.
