IH 615 combine heads

I know they made a 3 row narrow head. I think 833 is the number. This would be for the later combine the earlier 615 would have a 228 (I think) corn head.

If you have a feederhouse an 833 head is what you are looking for. They do exist, but you don't see them very often.

You could also run many other brands of heads with a head adapter, if you have the feederhouse.

If you have the old style head, where the feeder house stays with the head, or you don't mind taking your feeder house off to put a corn head on, then you look for a model 733. This was the head that most 615 had in my area.

You can also run a narrow row head from a IH 303 combine on a 615, but I don't recall the model number of that head.
