proso millet

I'm thinking about growing some proso millet as grain. Anyone have some tips about combining it? Does it need to be swathed? I will be using my MF 300 combine hopefully...
 
I do not know the brand of Millet I have grown, but I combined some a few years back, I windrowed it to keep shatter down, then baled the "straw" behind the combine,
