Vintage 1940's Gleaner in Action

Working with several family films. One from 1951. showing what I believe to be a mid 1940's Gleaner Baldwin H Series in action on our farm in southern Kansas. Bin has the lift gate (no auger) and the spreader is driven by outward rear pulleys attached to the walker? drive. Estimate the header to be 12ft. If this is an H, I find less than 800 were built from 1943 to 1950. But she may be older than that. Think the tractor to be an even older Allis Chalmer. Might someone be able to identify these? Have other films (in color) from the 1930's. Parades with neat equipment. "The Harvestor" is on the wooden bats (swather?) along with an Oliver, Deere and Case combine. Plus other old parades with a lot of tractors and combines.. Just trying to ID what we had on the farm back in the day.. In 1960, we up-graded to a Gleaner A with a cab.. Hope the videos up-loaded..

I took several snapshots from the film. The film shows much more.. Might someone know the model of the combine and tractor. Thanks

Thanks for the pics. Do you have a URL for the videos on youtube or somewhere like that?

I'd love to see the videos if you have them posted somewhere.

Looks like myabe an early WC Allis tractor to me.

Thanks for posting!

That is a model E. I am going to guess 1944 or 1945. They drove the spreader from the back shaft of the rear raddle thru 1945. In 1946-1951 the spreader drove from the front shaft of the rear raddle. This combine would have the 4 cylinder LeRoi engine. A very good engine.
