Can someone please tell me the numbers on case ih 30'' 4 row corn heads I bought a 1620 combine did not realize the head I got with it was a 36 38" head.

843,943,1043. Earliest to latest.

843 800 series, 4 row, 30 inch
943 900 series, 4 row, 30 inch

These are called four row narrow. Adjustable from 28 to 34 inch rows.

844 800 series, 4 row, 40 inch
944 900 series, 4 row, 40 inch

These are called four row wide. Adjustable from 36 to 40 inches.

863 800 series, 6 row, narrow.
883 800 series, 8 row, narrow.
And so on.

The 1000 series is the same. 1043, 1063, 1083. Not sure if there was a 4 row 1000 series.
