9400 combine issues

My voltage alarm started going off today when using switches. Is there something to check other than the alternator. The batteries were new last fall

I'm not a mechanic but my 9500 was doing that and some other electrical issues was the two relays behind the batteries replaced them both and all the gremlins left.

Have you checked the alternator's charging voltage yet?

There's a good bit of electrical out in the weather on them. My 9500 has never spent a night outside. I don't think they were mean to stand up to it. I'm sure those back relays are worth gold, but I would start there. Watch out. I had someone helping me work on mine and we needed the main shaft that goes through the grain tank rotated. I was going to start it and shut it down. I hit the starter and one of those batteries blew the top straight up. If either of us would have been standing there (as we had done) we'd have been blinded. The electrical on them scares me a little. Start now. You could be chasing gremlins all winter.
