looking for a large flat belt pulley

I am looking for a large flat belt pulley for a project. I have learned that some of the early self-propelled combines used one, so I thought I would ask here if anyone would have a parts machine with a pulley they would be willing to sell. I would like a pulley at least 30" in diameter, or larger and at least 6 inches wide, or wider. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

One guy told me an early International #403 has a pulley just about that size, but I have not found one around here.

I have this one, but I think it is only about 5 inches wide. I really think it was a flywheel of a small steam engine as it is very heavy. I want to use it to build a slow running heavy oil engine one day if I live long enough.

Heh Kirk would a wooden one work?

I have one on the elevator in a corn crib. Elevator is shot.

This may be close to 42 inches with about a 2 inch bore.

No, a wooden one will not work, sorry, Gary :(

I have one (I THINK it's still out there) that we took off of an IH 503 MANY years ago when we changed it over to multi-V-belt drive.

Want me to see if I still have it and measure it?

Roundback 95 might be that big. 45/55 are smaller.I have a flywheel from a IH 55 baler. it's atleast 36".But it also weighs 500
lbs....

I went out and wandered around a cattail slough where it was last seen and actually found it.

It was sitting on top of some boards many years ago, which have rotted away, leaving it frozen down, and it has suffered some from rust, but still be serviceable.

Dimensions are 30" in diameter, 6" wide.

Unfortunately, bore is TAPERED, GUESSING 1-1/8" at the small end, 2" at the large end.

It does not appear to be a REAL heavy part, for it's size.

I'm in north central ND, so shipping would be a BIG issue, I have heard of guys using Fastenal for bulky parts, but have never tried that a a nearby store.

I snapped some poor quality phone pix which I will post later.

ANYHOW, now you know the dimensions of a 503 pulley, I'm pretty sure a 403 is going to be the same.

That's got to be close to the size of the pulley on the
Massey seperater drives. It's right beside the
platform. I know the 82, 92, and super 92 used
them.
