It would be the second to largest combine built by CaseIH in it's time era. About 2 to 3 years ago.

The 8230 would be the largest capacity of the time.

It would be a 12 row corn machine and a 35 to 40 foot small grain header machine.

It is a 380 HP machine.

That's interesting. The fellow we buy TMR from got it last fall. Looked brand new at the time. He's using a 6 row head from his old combine and what looks to be about a 25 ft. heard for beans. Seems like he should have enough power, huh?

They made a 9230 and they actually made a 9120. My neighbor has one and pushes a 45ft Macdon header. So the 7230 would be the 3rd largest in the lineup and a Class 7 combine.

I've only got a 22 foot head on my 9500. The fields I had at the time I got it new prohibited a wider table. I thought about being one of those folks that takes the header off at every field and decided that I would rather a field take a few more rounds. Heck, I got radio and a/c.

It's also easier for me to store the combine with the header on it, so I got something that would go in the 24 foot doors.
