Production Year for threshing machine with a serial #

Does any here know the production year for threshing machines using the serial number?
I have a Case on factory rubber paint orange with a Serial Number 520804 what would the year of production be for this machine? I have a Oliver Red River Special on steel painted green with the number 52989 on the side of the machine is this the serial number if so what would the year of production be?

you sure you got all the numbers on the CASE? should be seven digits, if the first two are correct you have a 1948 model

Do you know when Case went from galvanized to orange paint on the threshers? We (owned by Dad and an uncle) had one and I remember when they picked it up new at the Case dealer and it was probably about 1946-1948.
 
Flambeau came to the tractors in 1939, I have not seen any older than 1948 that were painted, but I really do not know for sure the date the change was made, I will do some checking on it
