CIH 1660 - Ready to go...

...to the field. For those who have guided me along and might like to hear.

Went out today and pulled out my testing gear as the header would not go up and down after I installed the hydraulic lockout switch. I was all prepared to do continuity checks all the way back to the relay but the first thing I checked was the 12 volt power to the switch...and it had none. Pulled the 10 amp fuse and it was blown. Replaced the fuse and it still did not work but I now had voltage to the hot side of the switch and, with engine running and oil pressure up, I had voltage on the other side of the switch as well. So I pulled (what I thought was) the wire to the relay thinking maybe it was the wrong wire and plugged in the only other available wire and just like that all my hydraulics came back. It's a strange thing but this IH equipment gets changed or updated or there are options that not all of them have...but they all get the same wire harness so it is not unusual to have extra connectors. Anyhow...while I was in there I checked the other gauges too and made sure all worked. Most importantly, I now have a working oil pressure gauge and oil warning light and the safety lockout for the hydraulics is also on line. Appreciate all the help. Looks like I am ready...whenever the corn is. :)
