I hope he takes as good a care of it as the last owner. I would enjoy having that one in the shed. I really like the older machines. I have a MF 36 swather that is so much fun to use I grow oats just to have an excuse to fire it up.

Except for the grain tank, what are the major differences in the Special and a regular 660? Low tin 830s and 660 combines are some of the best equipment Case made. Imo of course.

the one in the pic had a spike tooth cylinder, but you could order that on a standard machine as well, they made two specials in the 660 a soy bean and a editable bean models, they have a rubber coated beater, rubber check flap and cup type elevators to handle the grain more gently, the one in the pic is a soy bean sp,, the editable bean also had diamond tread tires and could have a belt conveyor to handle the beans gently, in the 600 model they also had a Corn Special, that had a heavier straw rack but still had the regular bin,, the 660 came with the heavy racks, if you look close int he second pic you can see the conveyor unloader
