Anybody (would have to be a small farmer) still harvesting beans like kidneys by pulling them and thrashing them with the old Bidwell bean combines. That was common where I grew up in the 60's. Had an uncle make a killing on Kidney beans one year. I know there was always an issue getting them dry and not having too many split beans. I see lots of pictures here of the old machinery still in action but have never seen one of the old bean combines on here.
