combine bee videos

Really excellent. I got a kick out of the turf tires on the one combine. Also watching the JD unload on the fly with the old truck. He went off line in the beginning and when he came back I thought the truck and the header were going to hit. Things went from low tech to high pretty quick at the end when it was time to unload the truck. Interesting also the similarities in the different brands. I use a pickup head like the one combine had to do small grains. Locals around here (including the local dealer) told me they had never even seen one before. I thought it was the best plan as it allowed me to get a more consistently dry product.

They all have them diamond tread tires. The reason the JD went haywire for a second is because he was trying to find the unloading auger lever. The pickup attachment is a Sund and every farm out here had one. This one came off a JD 95 so I had to switch everything around from one side to the other because the JD drove the attachment on the left side. I hope to convert the Massey to a straight cut by next year.

I actually have a Gleaner AII. But I don't think I will get it running. The header is shot, engine seized up, and is missing a few parts. Its enough work to keep these combines running. I do have my eyes out for a Gleaner A to match others year wise. A Cockshutt is also on my list. I have located a Co-op which is a Cockshutt. Its been sitting outside forever but if its complete I might attempt to get it going since Co-ops are hard to find.
