I spent the last 2 day waiting for the drive belt for the unloading auger to come. This morning at 10;15 UPS arrived with my new belt and it was still cheaper then JD. But JD dealer told me it was NLA and they went going to support the old 95 anymore so I got one from an industrial supplier shipped to me and it was a perfect fit! Now I did have to do some adjusting (2 hours) to get it to stop turning when you shut it off. I fired her up and headed to the field. 3 rounds around a 22 acre field and the bin was good and full and of course it was picture time. Every year I snap a pic of the first bin load and me and dad bet to see who is closest on the yield for the field, Dad said 40 I said I'll be happy with 37 for this screwed up year. Got my Oliver 1550 Utility out for wagon duty and put her to work. The old JD 95 was sure humming along and giving a good sample in the bin so I was happy. All and all she did good today so I cant complain and it turned into a long day for sure. Its real hard when your doing it all alone, Dad is still on the mend in the wheel chair and I know he wants to be right there with me but he cant right now. So me and mom got him in the van and to the field for 1/2 the day till he got tired and he headed for the house. It was a good first day and the beans seam to be yielding good and there is a semi load sitting in the barn to loaded in the morning so it was a good day today. Bandit
