Gleaner L3 seperator raddle chain

Replacing the separator raddle chain in the L3 and wondered if anyone who has done this before has any tips or advice on what might be the best way to do this. Thanks

Take the front cover off and roll the chain till connecting links are in the front, take chain apart and use connecting links to fasten new chain to old, then roll the old chain around and new will be in place. Did both raddle chains by myself on a M-3, in about an hour.

I need to do that to my M2. Out of curiosity, what size are those links - 20-60? I broke a link in mine and need to put in a master link to reconnect the chain. Got about 6 rounds to go in the cornfield I'm in and want to finish before I replace the whole chain.
