When I bought my M2 last year, the bin extensions weren't hooked up to the clean grain auger in the bin and only came with one adjustable rod. I made a 2nd rod, and when I tried to connect the flaps to the auger, they wouldn't lay flat. Looked in the book and noticed my auger was up at an angle. The pic in the manual showed it laying horizontal, so I lowered the cradle to the next set of holes and now, everything looks right. When I raise the auger by hand, the flaps stand up straight. How well does this setup work? Also, I noticed I don't have the hood on the end of the auger. Book says to adjust it to get the bin to fill level. How critical is that part? Should I make one or get one at the junkyard?
