He wasn't able to get all his wheat harvested before the surgery. BTO came with 2 straight cut combines and cut the standing wheat; a cousin came with pickup header and took the windrowed wheat. Another cousin came and baled the straw, so everything has been taken care of until the soybeans are ready.
Son in high school will chisel plow after school and weekends - with Grandpa supervising.
