Repair Combine Feeder Beater

Got a feeder beater on the old K2 that has a number of pretty decent size dents in the cylinder from previous owner. I'm in there right now replacing fingers and wondering if there is a good way to repair or pop-out those dents (some are nearly 1/2" deep)? Any suggestions?

F or F2 was really bad, didn"t have a porta power, so I ground off the welds that held the end cap in place, took everything out of the beater, and used a hyd jack to push out all dents. Then welded the cap back in place. When that cylinder is hollow, all parts out, it"s easy to work with...no shaft thru the center.

There is a clamp type tool which will do a little, but only works around a finger hole. I heat up spots like that enough to tap them out with whatever hammer I can fit inside.
