F345 corn head

I picked up a 2 row corn head for my 960. I thought
it was a 402, but it's a 345. Is one better than the
other? Are there any adjustments that I need to
make to the combine before I use it, or can I just
take the oat head off, put the corn head on and start
combining? I've only used a combine for oats and
alway picked my corn. Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

Cylinder speed, concave clearance, chaffer and sieve settings all need to be changed. Do you have the operator manual which details those settings and maybe other changes? You can"t run a machine without that.

the F345 is a Old design,,, they worked I was told But the 402 is by far a better head,, been told by Corn guys they work as well as any today,,, I have no idea on that as I am a small grain guy,,,
