C'mon Tom, just admit you wanted back in the cab to harvest that itchy barley. I can't soon forget harvesting barley as a kid wearing a dust mask and goggles, in 100 degree heat and the sweat rolling into your eyes and that barley chaff and dust settling into every crevice on the human body. Maybe it had something to do with the variety back then or the harvest conditions during the 70s, but that stuff was miserable.

Steve that is Great News!! I do cut a fair amount of it,, But what I will use it for mainly is Crested Wheat grass seed,, it makes Perfect seed with that screen ready to plant,, and if you have never combined it that is not at all how it works most times lol

Brad, you are right about the Barley chaff,,,, this is the same and maybe worse at times as it keeps more leaf so you have more fine powdered material to land on you,,, the cab does help a bit for sure even though my a/c is out do to needing a new compressor,,

Great pictures. The paint on those old machines is amazing (around here even stuff that has been stored inside can start to rust a little) and they still do the job they were built for. I really like the last picture the best but all of them are good. Thanks for posting

Great pictures Tom, always enjoy them. "600" looks right at home. And Mister Big looks ready to tie into it. Thanks for taking the time to post them

+1

I always dig CNs photos. Love the mirror finish on the header augers. That last shot of the 1660 is perfect light for the colors in view.
