Knew a fella that had a new 105 that he had just used one harvest and then went around to dealers trying to trade it in on a different make. I went with a dealer to look at it; something didn't look right so we started measuring. It turned out that the ground was so went during harvest that they had hooked onto the right side of the drive axle and pulled the combine around the field with a TD14 crawler.

The right side of the combine was sprung an inch-and-a-half ahead of the left side. You could hear some of the bearings binding. I don't know what he did with it, but my dealer declined to trade for a new Gleaner that actually had a frame under it.

Pulling out a stuck combine strikes the fear of God into me for that reason. The 9500 is a pretty stout machine, but it was still made to harvest not yank out of a mud hole.

the JD machine is 2" narrower than the 1660,, seen several done pretty easy swap looks like to me,,,, these are Steve's 1660
