I looked mine up in the August 1997 edition of Green Magazine. The featured article was on the 105 written by JR Hobbs. I also have some of those farm machinery blue books that would have the serial numbers too.

OK, i got some blue books too,Thanks your a good man. I got a neighbor/friend hes got a lot of nice old combines kinda wants mine too. He has hand picked his machine from a couple hundred miles around. A 55 JD 403IHC, C=11 Gleaner, 960 case, a super 92 Massey,A 40 inch case,PtO driven, A-6 case Wisconsin powered, and more, @ all clean and in working condition. I think i will just give it to him

That's good to hear that someone is collecting these combines. I have 6 of them myself that run and about that many more that don't. Still have to pick up a MH 90 sitting in a neighbors shed.

That super 92, that hes got,i knew the guy that bought that new, he was so meticulous with everything he owned,he knew when the factory made any changes, all in his head. It's done a lot of work, but there a lot left in it,LOL. He also got a 420 Versatile Combine with a 318 chrysler Industrial, V8,sounds pretty good, That's got Gleaner Baldwin, thick cylinder bars in it, with a open concave, and augers for the clean grain and tailings. I haven't seen the case PTO, that hes got, all he said that's still got the shoe,instead of walker's, your 400 got the shoe also, right?

Yes, it has straw racks instead of walkers. Very smooth running machine.
Case also made the Case 460 pto machine which was the last pto machine they made.
Same as the 400 only newer.

Bingo, that's what he called it, a 460 i couldn't think of the number he called it, He's got two building full, i haven.t seen the 2nd, one. Would my super MTA Handle that 460,56 Hp. He thinking about keeping back 20-30 acres, for wheat next yr, anyway what a guy wont do for fun.

Probably be a hand-full in good wheat. But I have ran mine with a 800 Case and it did fine.
800 Case is probably 55-60 hp.
