Hey Guy's. Have a early 6600 and wanted to know how big of a job it would be to add a Dial-o-matic system to it? Right now it has nothing but my right arm.

Thanks

If your combine ahs the older style toggle header height control which is the three wire flat plug you can just add the electric parts. These would be the control switch, harness and solid state box. If yours has nothing then you would also need to add the electric control valve, rate of drop valve, and the switch that turns the automatic header height on under the cab when you lower the header so far. Not hard to do IF you find a donor combine with it already on it.

The dial-a-matic kit has not been available for well over 10-15 years. It was just the electric side of it.

The majority of the components from a JD 6620 will work too. You just have extra harness to tie up. The control module is mounted in a different place.
