Fox chopper guys

Have a question about the belted heads for fox choppers I have been told that the IH 830 corn head has the same belt as the fox belted heads IH lists 3 different lengths of belts and 3 diff part # does anybody know if this is true and if so which one do I need for a two row wide belted head

Yes , but i do not remember the belt how long . we have not used the old fox in i don't know how long as it has been years . and when we did use it it seamed like we would put a couple belts per year on it and we would get them at the local I H store as they had them on stock. It was just a matter of five miles down and five back and we were back in the game .

Thanks ok now a dealer who was an original IH dealer back In the day quite certain they will know which one i need

Can you count the "links"?

You may be able to match some up/narrow your search that way. Otherwise, are any numbers left on the belt?
