unloading anger

I have a ih 1440 combine with a sagging unloading anger. It doesn't have a support rod. I got this machine several years ago. It had 1700 hours on it and the anger did not sit on the rest even than. Now the meter will hit 3800. Next week. I think it is getting worse. I made a chain support to day that did not work like planed. Any idea or help would be great! Thanks

There is nothing worse than a mad unloading auger. (LoL)

I'm betting there would be a lot of the rods and turn-buckles you need in the combine graveyards.

Don't know where you live, but I know Bryant in Indiana has a few 1440's and I bet it's the same
rod on a 1460.
