A man I work with brother need a wobble box for 1859 head I have 2 but don't know what to ask. They are both in good shape no leaks what should are the bringing now?

I read a lot of comments about wobble box problems. What's up with that? Are they under designed, or faulty design? Or being used beyond their design limits? Lack of lubrication?

What parts are failing?

Maybe some company needs to design something better to do that function.

as far as I know massey wobble boxes were fine. an Agco parts man told me that he thought the old massey boxes were better than the ones you can get on a new head today, because any time the bearings can run in oil the will last longer than ones that must be greased. the problems with massey wobble boxes is that they are old correct me if I am wrong but the type of box this guy has would have been made at the latest in 1987 that is 28 years old or older. as for a value I have no idea you could try contacting a combine salvage outfit and quote a price and then adjust from there

price it according to your mood and help the guy out /// wheat is gonna be ready soon 75 bux =500 in goodwill
