I'm going to move.

Every since I bought the 5297 Moline combine every thing that could go wrong has gone wrong. I managed to get the header off and home last spring. I thought I would try to get the combine this weekend but it was too wet and they didn't want me tearing up the pasture. They said next weekend for sure if it didn't rain ... it rained. I am starting to think that the only way I can ever say this combine is home will be if I move to where it is.

Guess this wouldn't be an option?

It's been a wet one, that's for sure. I am a few miles north of Ottawa and we are swimming in mud. I haven't had any machinery stuck yet but came close with two different tractors the other day. I've decided that my goal is to get through planting and harvest with fewer than six machines burried in the mud. I just might meet the goal but the combine isn't in the field yet. Getting that bugger out is a mess. So far I iust have the milo in but I think he rain will miss us tonight. I hope. I want to get about 100 acres of Liberty beans in starting first thing in the morning. There are 550 acres of beans total that need to be in the ground two weeks ago.

I feel your pain. I bought an AC elevator earlier this year. Every time I call the guy to try to pick it up he isn't home. I called him the other day, now they are repaving the road past his farm so it is going to be a while so I can pick it up. Atleast he isn't in a hurry to get it out of there.

Im sure everyone agrees with me when I say we are patiently waiting to see pictures of that combine in your yard!

You will have it home soon.
Thanks for the update.

Yeah I've got luck - all bad. I was planning on next weekend. Of course something came up,so that is out. Weather forecast is for rain again anyway. Then the 4th of July. Not sure after that.

And then there is this Blonde haired gal from Oklahoma that I am trying to keep happy.

In spite of all of this there is still hope...... I think.
