gleaner 3-30 cornhead

I have a chance at a really nice , orange belly corn head , 3-30' what's this head worth? not sure I need it but think it can be bought cheap.

If, it was an average 4-30,I"d say maybe 500 at best, but the 3-30s are harder to find. Mounts for a Model K?

I picked one up, and I think I paid 650.00 Really good shape. Guy I got it from had it on a Cutter for doing earlage.

Not much. What does it fit? The challenge with them is that most didn't fit multiple machines. As mentioned there were some around on Field Queen forage harvesters. I don't know if they were a K, or F head. I bought a FL330 cheap, years ago. You couldn't hardly avoid knocking down corn even with small tires on the F. I rebuilt it to fit an E, then later a K2. The biggest challenge there was not the mount, but the drive.

Well I hunted and hunted and paid 1200 for mine probly to much but couldn't find one for my k2
