Gleaner AII floating cutter bar

Any idea if there was one made? I have a 12' rigid head and would like to do my larger fields of beans with it this year. I know that there were some Floating/flex cutter bars out there for other models just did not know for the AII. If so any ideas on how to find them as I have not had any luck at all. Thanks ALL!!

Summerix equipment up near Alpena probably knows where one is at. They deal with allis chalmers and gleaner and has a lot of the older heads. Might be cheaper to upgrade. I have an F with both heads but found it cheaper to buy a L2.

Love, Hart-Carter are a couple brands of after-market floating cutterbar attachments. There is no such thing as a flex aftermarket attachment. But a FCB is a big improvement over a rigid head.

Ok thanks. I know there is a combine salvage yard some where about half an hour north of Lansing I just need to try and remember where I is.

I'm fairly sure a floating cutter bar off an F series head can be put on your AII head. Just have to drill some holes for the brackets.

I live about 12 miles north of Worthington's, and they do have some Gleaner stuff yet, not much, and not sure about complete heads or cutter bars. Might be worth a call if you are a good distance away. I frequent their yard quite a bit.

Worthington's!!!!! That is the name of the one I could not remember. They are about 40 min north of me maybe a touch more. Thanks!

WORTHINGTON AG PARTS, There number is 1-800-248-9263. Last fall when I called them for my K2 Gleaner, their Gleaner parts were pretty thin, at St.Johns. They can also check other parts yards in other states, if you ask. Hope this helps! Thanks Chris,Montague,MI
