So this morning I went down to this farm junk yard I just found out
about a few months ago! Didn't know of any this close to me! So anyhow
he has a gleaner f2 with a diesel engine hydraulic fold augar air
conditioning and some other odds and ends of parts I need! Could I ad
these all onto my k2 with hardly any modification just un bolt and
bolt to my k2! I know I could buy another k2 with these options but I
got mine for 500 bucks! And thiers not many combines were I'm at and
old onnsz9m bring top dollar here in western pa! The f2 was rolled on
its side the bin was smashed and the steps if it wasn't for somebody
wanting a shaft out of it and chopping two big holes in each side I
woulda found another bin and bought this f2 odd him! Cause its nice
and he actually has a good bin on a burent f2!

The K2 diesels use the same engine as the F2, so that part would be pretty easy swap, probably just need the fuel filter housing on the RH side below the fuel tank, and some minor wiring changes. If you got all of the A/C parts, compressor, evaporator, condenser, and all of the lines/hoses, and heat-ac controls, you should be able to install it without any problems. As for the hyd fold auger, I was thinking that the grain tanks were different where they attach. If I get over to the other farm I'll look, as we have K2 gas and diesels, some with manual fold and some with hyd fold augers. If the bins between the manual fold and hyd augers ARE different, I'm pretty sure that the good one on the burnt F2 is bigger than the one on a K2. But, you never know, if the F2 bin is bigger, maybe it would still fit somehow.

Part numbers for the power fold auger tube, auger and bearing collar are the same for the two models. Bin bottom auger is shorter on K2.
