gleaner grain bins

years ago I saw I picture of a Baldwin Gleaner grain storage bin in the wheat country of Kansas. Now for the life of me I can't find any info on this. Have any of you ever heard of these. I have a friend who custom harvests with Gleaner combines and he claims that there certainly were bins made by Gleaner maybe in the 40's or 50's he thinks.

Ever see a Gleaner building? I have a couple.

On your grain bin subject I think the Gleaner grain storage bins were probably Butler bins as Gleaner had a close tie to Butler MFG of Kansas City. Gleaner sold hammer mills, choppers and Grain Bins but all were contracted.

Nothing in my AC book about grain bins. When AC used to put on forums during the winter months, Butler was always one of the companies that joined in the shows.

Here is a link to an advertisement that talks about the Gleaner Baldwin Green Top Grain Bins.

Somewhere I have a brochure that talks about the grain bins and the Gleaco grinder. The ad appears to be around 1930 or 1931.
