Old John Deere combine

A fellow contacted me about this combine today and I was just wondering what the model is and if its rare? Because I've never seen a john deere like this on steel wheels

Probably made during WWII when tires were rationed. Looks like it has been cannibalized for a lot of parts.

That makes two of us on the wheels. Looks like a 11A judging by the header width. 11As were only made for about 3-4 years and add in the steel wheels, i would say its rare. Unfortunately the condition is poor enough I would just grab the wheels and let the rest go unless you have another parts 11A to go with it.

Its a 12A. I've got an 11 and its way smaller. They were discontinued for the war effort. Only produced in 1939 and a few in 40.
