F2 corn soybean special on Oats

Book says I need different pulley on cylinder and different belt to get cyl speed high enough to thrash oats has anyone tried oats without changing pulley and belt. Problem is I don't have pulley or belt. If I miss some oats in straw it's okay the Draft Horses eat the straw anyway. Didn't know if I could add concaves to make up for speed? Just don't want to plug cause thats not fun in July to be inside combine digging out

Buy the pulley and the belt. Run it like it should be...900-1100 rpm for oats. There"s a reason why the book is written that way.
