Just wondering if anyone would like to do a trade, I need the metal pieces that goes down over the rods on the feeder beater, mine has plastic ones on it now but need the metal ones for corn, if anyone has metal ones and needs plastic ones, please let me know and maybe we can work something out.

Before they thought of heavy duty fingers, we used the plastic guides on our E's in corn without issue. The iron ones are for the bigger, heavy duty fingers. So, unless something has changed, you'll have a lot of slop with 1/2" fingers and the iron guides, which were made for 5/8" fingers, I believe.
The iron guides are a lot more noisy. Seemed to me that time/age and setting in the sun was as hard on those plastic guides as anything.

Yeah my plastic ones are wanting to break and fall off, I've lost a few so need to replace all of them. The combine was used for grain all its life until I got it now its just doing corn.
