I'm looking at buying a john Deere 105 to tinker with, but before I do I am wondering if you can still get most of the belts and such for one. Thanks

I might know where there is a good corn special diesel...

Yes, belts etc are easy to get. PArts like chaffers, sieves, etc. is more difficult than 10 years ago.

Grt your belts from JayDee Enterprises. About 1/3 to 1/2 of deere's prices. Just give them the OEM part no and they can gross.Bearings get at any NAPA,bearing house.....Other parts are hit and miss. But they are a good simple machine, easy to work on.Buy a parts book. It will will be extremely helpful and valuable.I run a 55 and 95. Same thing, only smaller

Thank you for the responses. I'm not so worried about parts anymore so I'll invest in a parts book and move on with the idea.

I've got a whole combine I'd sell ya with good belts! its a 1969 corn special. Gas/gear drive. Runs great but rattle chain is stuck. Located in central IL. Lemme know if there's any interest. Thanks
