Anybody ever convert a manuel swing augar on a
gleaner k2 to hydraulic would it be hard? Or anyone
have a good manuel fold augar laying around or maybe
a good shape k2 they would sell my heads are good
combine needs work!

I asked this question back of this and it would be expensive to do, I would love to have one on my K as well, I wondered about putting a cylinder on the auger and then tie into some of the lines with a separate control valve for the auger?

One problem I see in converting the existing auger is that you would spill grain each time you fold it. Electric winch might work for folding. Or switching an entire hyd fold from an F2 to the K.
