white 7300 combine

Was looking at des Moines Craig list, found a white 7300 sitting at a salvage yard, had a 3 row narrow head, http://www.dougs4-wheelers.com, kinda OK, don't know anything about it, rod

Decent looking combine - 34 inch cylinder and separator so fairly small. Ad says it's been stored inside which is a plus. Parts through an Agco dealer - heard there's still stuff available for them. Might want to dicker a bit on the price, otherwise looks okay.

I have two of those. A red one set up for corn. A green
"Oliver" 7300 set up for wheat and soybeans. They are great
running machines if you do not push too hard.
Part are getting hard to find. They use a Perkins 354 I believe.

ive been running one of these for 2 years now and my uncle ran them for 30 years. So far the only part I couldn't get was a water pump. I could get a rebuild kit for my pump but not a full one. I run a 4rn cornhead and 13' kwikcut head in beans and wheat. Being my first combine I cant really compare it to anything but ive gotten along pretty well with it so far.
