This was my first experience of threshing. Dad and grandpa had this Belle City thresher which they used till I was about 8. Ran it with an 860 Ford.
Still have it as yard art now.

Here's a Belle City I saved from a tree grove. Casecollectorsc got it threshing again. Its a good feeling to see tired iron reconditioned rather than recycled.

Very nice! Good work! Back then my biggest job was puttering around the field with the 8N while dad and grandpa loaded bundles. Thanks for sharing.

A good thresher would be expencive yard art. Good machines sell in the few thousand dollar range.

Picture was taken either '62 or '63. I was the tall one. Thresher never got to be inside and most of the wood is pretty bad now, and some of the tin is holy. (not in a religious way either).
