Looks like the tranny in my Gleaner K got in two gears and that caused it to bust, I was going from reverse to 2nd and it must not have come all the way out of reverse, anybody else had this problem?? Someone told me it was common in K's for the tranny not to want to come out of the gears completely at times, they suggested putting in two gear shifts, one for reverse and 1st, the other for 2nd & 3rd, that way you are going up and down, not down over and up.

F2 had two shift levers...I didn"t care for it over the previous single lever H pattern. Still had to make sure the first lever was out of gear before moving the second.

My K2 had problems shifting. When I had it apart to adjust, I accidentally put the linkages on wrong so that the positions are flipped from left to right from what it says in the cab. For some reason it worked better that way, so I left it. I had to cover the decals with tape and use a Sharpie to rewrite the gears just in case somebody besides me needs to move it.

I have had trouble with the F3 not coming out of one gear in the tranny but the shift lever is free to go into another. have to shut it off and go around outside and move the linkage on the side into neutral. Wear and trying to shift too fast probable cause. Think I had the same problem with the K, The F2's 2 levers are a pain but at least that problem doesn't happen.
