I don't own a combine anymore. The dollar bill speaks louder than my passion to own one. If I did own combines my dream list would include Cockshutt, Massey Harris, Case and Oliver.

I am in southern WI and own a Deere 55,2 95's and a 105. All are very late models and in good shape and used each year here on the farm. I also have a Deere 550 grain dryer.

Tomah, Wisconsin

9500 that we use and a
55 EB that I bought two years after sitting in a shed for 20ish years, rebuilt the carb but ain't tried to get it running yet.

Currently running my wonderful JD 95 squareback. Also have a 55 roundback that was my first combine.I bought it back 17 years after I first sold it.I really regret selling my 45Squareback/313 corn head just after I bought the 95.Have also owned a JD# 30 pull type.Had a JD 6600/20'platform given to me once. The farmer wanted it gone.Later 'sold' it for $500.Western Colorado.

ac 72, needs rebuilt since it was hit head on while moving it. So needs to repair the header, broke lift spring and a couple other repairs.

Nothing old anymore.

2 JD 6620 Titian II sidehills
1/2 interest in (2) JD 9660s with the boys.

Wish I had my JD 95 back.

Liked to run small grains with it. I had all the different screens for it. You could really make a clean sample that way. The screens worked much better than the adjustable chaffer in small grains.

An elderly neighbor has Dads late Gleaner E. It's been under cover all its life. I hope it's not available too soon, because when it is, I'll have to buy it! Maybe by then I'll have more storage space.

A picture I saw on here of the 66 corn head reminded me very much of the tin on some early Gleaner corn heads. Maybe a possibility there? I scrapped an early E high profile two row head years ago which I thought looked very much the same.

The Gleaner head is similar but not quite close enough. The 150,170,190 picker were closer which I do have one for parts. Might have to use that.....

Thanks anyway!

I'm not familiar with a 429,, what kinda head is that??
I had a 6 row narrow,,but with 180+ bushels the ole 503 just didn't handle it so I use the 6 row for parts . I'm the 2nd owner of this machine that has always been sheded. In 2006 mice got into one of the cly and I had to remove the head to clean it all out ,because it wouldn't turn over ,,the cly didn't even have a ridge at the cly tops ,, It runs so smooth and doesn't use any oil,,but it does like fuel..

Yes that was my family's dealership, started by great-grandfather and his brother. It was later known as Henry Equipment Company when ran by my grandfather Dallas and at the end by his cousin Glen. We have several tractors and other equipment that was sold through the dealership.

It was a 429. It had been on a 403 before. We even had the 503 dualed up to get thru the mud. Not a fun harvest, but great memories.

Did you do that customizing to the grain tank? Brilliant. Wish my mind worked like that. Saw an old metal corn crib with the littlle indentations, This one place i drive past he had basically cut it in half and put boards in between the two halves doubling the capacity!!
