found this a couple days ago thought this was pretty neat, I think these were a Oliver machine at this time? I did not know they had a detachable feeder house that far back

Oliver combines I remember had the engine behind the cab. Did they make this style as well?

Goodyear sure sold a lot of those miserable tires. They held up well, but didn't have good traction in our conditions.

I have never seen one of these, was it ever marketed? It looks like a picture taken by a company photographer.

Oh boy there's a lot of feeder house chain out there. I don't think I have ever seen one stick quite that far out of the feeder house. Can you image trying to hook that header up without mangling that chain beyond operation? I hope that clutch isn't jumpy.

Still better than our Massey that attached back at the cylinder with two pins and 19 chains.

It is an Oliver 25 with a Ford engine. It was made in Battle Creek MI. except for the last year 1963) when it rolled down the Cockshutt line in Branfort Canada. The engine behind the cab was a Branfort design.

Neat picture...I dont think my 611 Ford has a detachable feeder house but guess I should go and look..

I saw one of those about 30 years ago with a corn head on it in the town of flat rock ,indiana se of indpls. But itwasnt there the last time i went thru. Another one of those "If I could do it all again" =(... It was ford and red.
