Free parts

While waiting in line at the evevator,The 'BS' gets deep. We were talking about combines.I mentioned I still use a 95. One guy said he had some straw walkers. Said to come get them.They were going to scrap.Out of about 10 in the pile,only 2 were still useable.Loaded em up............

Parts is parts and the best ones are free! I bought a box of combine parts at a sale for $5, In the bottom of the box was a new hydrolic pump and a new rebuild kit for it. Much to my surprise it was for a 95. An old guy there at the sale got to talking to me and said he would give me some parts that he had for his old 95 if I wanted them, How could I say no. I left his place with 1/2 a pick up loaded with belts, chains sprockets pulleys shafts and bearings. I am still using them after 24 years. I tried to pay him for them and he kept saying no ever time. He said just use them and keep that old 95 running that's payment enough. That's one of the reasons why I am still running an old 95 and will be running one for awhile longer. Bandit

Guy I know gave me a 715 he had removed the engine from. Pulled it home and it's the parts machine for my 403.
