1460 rotor speed not working

I'm attempting to combine my 20 acres of beans left and when I got to the field the rotor speed indicator was not working properly. I started everything up and got 90% done with no problems except some slugging (double crop beans still a little wet). I'd like the indicator to work tomorrow. It formerly worked. What could go wrong? Any terminals to check or clean? Never messed with one before. I got the rotor speed switch fixed a few weeks ago and it seems to adjust fine. Just no change on gauge showing speed tonight.
Thanks
Zach

Did you just grease the front rotor bearing? Sometimes grease can get on the speed pickup sensor. Take the square shield off in front of the front rotor bearing and check the toning wheel, sensor, and connector to the wiring harness.

I'm not sure. My 1680 has a couple of number going out on the digital display. My hundreds number is just about gone on the rotor speed display. It's the same for engine RPM and fan speed so I think I need the digital display fixed or replaced. I guess my rotor speed from the. High / low gear, the belt position on the vs pulley and the speed range in the book.
If your engine rpm and fan speed display I'd guess the problem is at the sensor, or wiring fault or maybe the switch that selects the display.
