I am checking on the interval for greasing the bearing on the main shaft right under the seat. The book is at my brothers. His wife won't know where it is. I usually grease it before each crop like wheat beans and corn. Total of about 100 hours a year. Does this sound right. From what the dealers tell me most guys don't even know that grease fitting is there and it never gets greased. Then wonder why it went out.

If I recall correctly the book calls for 200 hours greasing interval for that bearing. I put about 100 hours a year on my 6620 and I grease it once a year at inspection time.

Thanks guys. I guess we are doing it about right then. Like said grease it between each crop. Wheat beans and corn. Again thanks.
