Hoof governer parts

Have a buddy that picked up a little skid steer with a v4 ford engine. The governor is shot but it seems they used them on a number if early smallish engines. Wondering if anyone might have a source for parts or know where there is a little Hoof governor laying on a shelf or on an old combine or something. Not much on the interweb and if there are parts available folks aren't talking. Cute little skid steer in good shape other then the governor run dry, could be a handy little thing.

You need Dr. Diesel. He can be a bit cranky at times, but a GREAT parts source.

Thanks a lot folks. I'll try to get some pictures today and get them to you Jean Claude, this will make one happy guy, even more so if it works out!
Think I'll wait to hear from Jean before I have the guy get in touch with Dr Diesel, If he is grumpy the two of them on the phone may make the phone lines burst into flames. :lol: My friend is a blacksmith, never met one that didn't have an attitude.
