Old harvest pics

Here's a few old school pics of my grandpa picking corn in '68 with his 560 he bought new in 1960 and a neighbor combining wheat earlier in the summer for my dad and grandpa. The JD 55s pics are from Aug '78 my dad and the neighbor 1/4 mile down the road sold there two combines to a jockey out of Ohio and bought a 6600 gas together and then later traded for a 6600 diesel. Then we picked up a lot more ground later and bought a 7700 just for ourselves and so that was the end of owning one together.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like the 55s were corn specials. Were the 55 gas or diesel, hydro or variable speed belt drive.
