Massey Harris #13 pulltype combine

A friend asked if we could use a Massey Harris #13 combine at our local museum. Worked as massey
partsmen in 70"s but never came across such a machine. It has a 4cyl continental and two canvases in opposit direction for feeding. Any Ideas out there?

Neigbor had one of those; had it set up for soybeans and only used it for that purpose because it did such a good job on soybeans.

There probably weren't many of them built, to it is a rare item that would be worthy of display in a museum.

Andy, I was a salesman and partsman at MF Dealer from 1966 till 1973. Also don't recall hearing of the MH 13. MH was a leader in Combines in those early years. I agree with the others that it belongs in museum ! If it works out we would like to eventually see pictures.

Two canvas running in opposite directions ? A very early draper header ?

Went and had a look at combine today and took pictures(will post when I can figure how, only one port on computer) turns out machine is a #15 and not #13,uses only one canvas in the table and has short radle chain feeding grain into feeder chain. About 20" cylinder, no auger from grain tank just a slide like a lot of combines of the era. Looks to be of similar time period as the #21 self propelled. Seems in good condition for being outside, I was impressed.
